Dear Reader!
No excuses. Let's dive straight in. I’m currently refreshing things here at CAS Ltd. Once again, I find myself holding my hands up for getting hyper-focused on my beloved hummingbird logo. This time, the realignment is about shifting the focus towards the bird, not away from the method.
Purpose & Direction
Like most things in life, we see the best results when we focus on the end game, not solely on the work it takes to get there. The HouseRules method is designed to become second nature once the right structure is in place. So, in a move that addresses two birds with one thought, the services themselves are evolving.
Flutter
Let’s Flutter when you need that first clarifying conversation. When you know something’s off, you’re aware of the growing concerns. However, as the founder, you’re not sure who in the team you can speak to openly.
Let’s hash it out together and identify your starting point, so you can move forward with confidence and clarity.

Hover is for the moments when you need to step back and assess before deciding what comes next. We take a close look at your existing policies and procedures to make sure they align with your business purpose.
It might be time to let go of what no longer fits or introduce something new as your business continues to evolve.

Humming
Humming is the top-of-the-canopy tier. It’s the full transformation, with the core elements of HouseRules woven all the way through. The sales page is still in the works but I’ll let you know as soon as it’s ready. In the meantime, the Sip & Chat remains a steady part of the ecosystem.
Hummingbird Story and Symbolism
I know logos is what everyone talks about when they talk branding but there’s a reason the hummingbird is in the corner of almost everything I do. There still is. It’s personal. It represents me, my heritage, and where I’ve come from. It’s a nod to who I am.
As well as being symbolic. The meaning of the hummingbird in business is so powerful, so apt, I couldn’t imagine choosing anything else. It captures exactly what I’m here to do: bring clarity, energy, and presence, then move on quietly once the work is done.
Pillar Reframe
Maybe we should start at the beginning because I’ve been flapping about a bit!
As part of this refresh, there’s a slight shift in the way we talk about the pillars: what we focus on, what can be worked on, and what is actionable.
The three core areas remain:
- Leadership – Your development as a founder. How you move forward in creating a business and culture that truly sets you apart.
- Internal Community – The relationships and expectations that hold the team together and support growth.
- Policies and Procedures – The tailored structure that ensures clarity, fairness, and alignment at every level.
Ethics hasn’t gone anywhere. In fact, it runs through all of these areas. It’s the golden thread that holds everything in place and ensures the kind of success that others can recognise and respect.
One Last Thing...
From here on out, these updates won't be shared publicly. They're for "birds who flock together inside this ecosystem, genuinely curious about leading better, building stronger and making it all mean something.
So, if you're reading this because you stumbled across the link, now is the time to join the list.
Until next time
